Agenda

돌이켜보면 유치원 시절에서 가장 기억에 남는것은 뒷마당에서 물이 흐르는 파이프를 조립하며 시간 가는 줄 모르고 놀았던 오후입니다. 웅크리고 앉아 콩벌레를 잡고, 이름 모를 풀꽃을 관찰하던 때 입니다.

행복한 유년의 추억은 대개 교실 안보다는 볕이 잘 드는 야외에 깃들어 있습니다. 입구의 마당에서 시작해 숲속 교실로, 다시 뒷산과 홀을 지나 중정으로 이어지는 유기적인 동선은 아이들에게 단순한 통로가 아닌 하나의 커다란 ‘이야기 주머니’가 됩니다. 안과 밖이 경계 없이 교차하는 유치원에서 아이들은 매일 새로운 모험을 하며 저마다의 이야기를 쌓아갑니다.

Looking back, the clearest memory I have from kindergarten is an afternoon in the backyard, completely absorbed in assembling water pipes and forgetting about time. I remember squatting on the ground, catching pill bugs, and quietly observing small wildflowers whose names I never learned.

Many happy childhood memories seem to live not inside classrooms, but outdoors, where sunlight gently fills the space. A flowing sequence of places—from the entrance yard to a forest classroom, past the hillside and hall, and back into a courtyard—becomes more than a path for children to walk through. It turns into a kind of shared story space. In a kindergarten where indoors and outdoors blend without rigid boundaries, children set off on small adventures each day, gradually building their own stories through experience.

Concept

가장 중심이 되는 야외유원장을 볕이 가장 잘 드는 남쪽에 배치하고, 이를 둘러싸는 교실을 배치하며 설계를 시작했습니다. 진입마당과 숲의 3M의 단차는 경사형 놀이터를 통해 소통하고, 1층의 진입마당과 야외유원장은 열린 홀을 통해 소통합니다. 실내외의 스탠드는 나란히 올라가 입체적인 공간을 강조합니다.

The design began by placing the main outdoor playground on the south side, where it receives the most sunlight, and arranging the classrooms around it. A 3-meter level difference between the entrance yard and the forest is connected through a sloped playground, while the entrance yard and the outdoor playground on the ground floor are linked by an open hall. Indoor and outdoor stepped seating rises in parallel, reinforcing the three-dimensional quality of the space.
